About Aaron

Being 59, I have been through many financial challenges and changes in my life. Single, marriage, children, stepchildren, divorce, job loss, job transition, and many others. In 2020 at age 55 and the height of covid, I was able to retire. This was due to having established a financial plan early on in my life. After things settled down with covid, I realized that I had always had a passion for helping people with their finances and wanted to provide the service of financial planning to others. So, I decided to attend Rice University, Susanne M. Glasscock School of Continuing Studies (Certified Financial Planner Program) to obtain the additional education needed to sit for the CFP Exam. In 2023, I was certified as a CFP.

Experience

I have over 35 years of experience working in Accounting, Finance, and Financial Planning & Analysis. I have worked for businesses (both public and private) and individuals at all levels of an organization. I held many positions running accounting and finance departments and spent much of my spare time coaching individuals with their cashflows, budgets, debt management, employee benefits, tax analysis and small business planning. From 2020 – 2023 I worked as a Financial Coach helping individuals and families navigate their changing financial situations.

Clients

My primary Clients are high earner couples age 35 to 45 who have established Blended Families. Their joint income is $200K plus per year. I work with these Clients on an advice-only, flat fee basis, dependent on the complexity of their estate.

I also work with pre-retirees in order to help them navigate and feel more confident about their retirement years.

Clients with a minimum of $500K in investable assets, can choose a % of AUM (Assets Under Management) fee structure. With these Clients, Comprehensive Financial Planning and On-going Financial Planning is included.
